Beth has taught herbology, iridology, aromatherapy, and classical naturopathy courses in natural health education for more than seven years. She is the founder of Sweet Herbin’ Livin’ an education platform offering online courses and in-person events including Iridology, Herbal Bootcamp, Muscle Response Testing & Energy Workshop, and Supporting Emotions and Behaviors through Iridology and Bach Flower Remedies Workshop.
As a Board-certified Master Herbalist Beth has created, developed, and taught curricula that introduce students to herbs found around the world, with a focus on building an herbal Materia Medica, discussing practical, safe, and traditional use of herbs including making tinctures, salves, fomentations, teas, and more. Students are familiarized with mycology, gemmotherapy, Whole Food Plant-Based Diets, culinary herbs, wild-crafting, legalities of crafting and selling herbs in their home states, and integrating Herbology into natural healthcare practice.
Beth has written and taught elements of Aromatherapy including understanding the chemistry and safe use of essential oils under all circumstances, plant synergy and blending for effective use, developing blends to support body systems, chakra balancing, and additional means of supporting clients.
Classical Naturopathy courses Beth has developed, written, and taught include Energy Healing, Nutrition, Internal Conditions, Parasitology, Cleansing and Detoxing, Fasting, and Light and Sound Therapy.
Beth and her husband, Rob, live in the metro Atlanta area and are the proud parents of three children, three married-in children, and are glowingly proud grandparents of eight grandchildren.
Not only does Beth teach professional courses for naturopathic professionals, she also has a YouTube Channel, @SweetHerbinLivin, a unique place to explore natural, healthy living including using and making herbal medicines, baking bread, using essential oils, gardening, and more!
Jena’s interest in natural health and helping people started young, her grandparents opened their natural health store when she was a toddler, and her mom, Beth, started using herbs, chiropractic care, and eating healthy around the same time.
As a child, Jena was faced with many food allergies, food sensitivities, chronic nose bleeds, and chronic pain. She learned to track her foods and the connection that what she ate had to her health and well-being.
At 21, Jena started working at multiple health food stores, including the family store where she worked part-time off and on for 8 years. There, she soaked up all of the knowledge she could about herbs, homeopathic medicine, flower remedies, nutrition, and more. Her love for natural health led her to pursue an education in natural health. She became a Certified Health Specialist, a Certified Natural Health Practitioner, and later a Doctor of Naturopathy. For a short season, Jena included RBTI in her consultation practice but then let that go so she could be at home more with her young, growing family. She has since been a content creator and consultant for schools of natural health and has continued to help friends and family navigate their way through life with natural health suggestions.
Jena and her family have faced many health challenges through the years, including severe allergies, blood pressure spikes, auto-immune issues, fibromyalgia, sensory disorders, pregnancy and birth complications, migraines, and seizures. She has primarily used natural means to overcome or work through these issues for herself and her husband and children but uses modern medicine when it is a necessary asset.
Currently, Jena’s main focus is raising and homeschooling her family. She considers herself a “Scrunchy Mama” and incorporates natural and clean lifestyle choices with grace, understanding sometimes you just need to have the pizza night for fun and for the mental and emotional well-being of the family. After her family, her true passion is her dogs and helping the average dog owner live their best life with their dog without having to become a professional dog trainer through her YouTube channel, @BusywithDogs. She is also transparently owner-training her own Service Dog to help her with her health challenges and she shares more resources on her website, and in her Busy With Dogs membership program hosted on Patreon - https://www.patreon.com/BusywithDogs.
Jena is also working on courses in natural health covering pregnancy which she hopes to release in 2025.
We can't wait to see you in October!
“I'm not sure where to begin. What an absolutely AMAZING weekend! I am still feeling a bit overwhelmed by it all. Wonderful people, wonderful content, wonderful food and the location, was a dream. What a great group of people too!! I appreciated meeting everyone and sharing experiences. I'm not one for making 'fast' friends, but this weekend was different. Spending time with like-minded people was AWESOME! Thank you both for your outpouring of knowledge and passion. There was nothing but positive energy there and I LOVED IT! ”
“I was so glad I was able to come to the seminar. I have taken classes with both of you individually and was never disappointed. Having you both as co-lecturers didn't disappoint either! While there was an itinerary it wasn't rigid and the seminar went on without a hitch. I am looking forward to what comes next. ”
“I don’t even know where to start! I was absolutely blown away by this weekend. I came, expecting to learn some new things to help me to fine-tune and hone my skills. What I came away with, was so much more than that. It was like a whole new world had opened up to me. Honestly, I don’t even know how to explain what I took away from this weekend. The opportunity to be with like-minded people and get to know them personally face-to-face and to be intimately connected had a huge impact for me. ”
“This engaging event was brilliantly held in a serene and retreat-like mountainous setting where participants enjoyed an intimate learning experience with seasoned instructors who shared their wealth of knowledge and welcomed challenging questions and idea exchanges. This weekend exceeded my expectations! Thank you so much for hosting this “weekend away” opportunity. Can’t wait to see what events Brilliant Health offers in the future! ”
“The weekend in Tennessee was so awesome! From the cabin, to the views, the teaching, the people, the food, everything was great. Being out in a nature is always best to me and the location was beautiful and relaxing. I was probably the one with the least natural health education, one month away from getting my CNHP, and am so happy I went. Everyone was so encouraging. Judy and Beth were amazing teachers! The amount of knowledge they have to share, 2 days is not enough. I left that weekend feeling very confident in my ability to Muscle Test, and wanting to learn more about Bach Flowers and Iridology. Beth's teaching on the Chakras was so good and the little talks with everyone were so enriching. There is so much to learn! I can't wait for the next time they do this, I don't want to miss it!”
