FAQ

  • What about Lodging?

At this venue, there are several King en suite with twin bunk rooms (sleeps 4) available for those who wish to stay on location with us. They are lent by the room on a first-paid basis. It is your choice to share. Or not.

King Rooms with a twin bunk are $825 for five nights.

There is ONE bunk room (two twins only) with a "shared" but exclusive (meaning not ensuite but it belongs to you during your stay) bathroom available for $485 for five nights.

Contact Beth at Beth@SweetHerbinLivin to reserve your room.

What if the rooms onsite are sold out?

Sevierville is a popular tourist area. There are many viable Airbnb, Vrbo, and hotel options nearby. Just pop "Sevierville" into your search engine to find a cabin or hotel that suits you.

  • Is my family allowed to stay with me onsite?

Family and friends are welcome to stay with you in your room (see FAQ question above), but only those who have registered and paid for the event may participate.

We have budgeted for supplies and workspace to accommodate staff (Beth, Lisa, Jena, Judy) and ALL paid participants.

Anyone else may chill and watch movies, play on the arcade machines, play pool, hang out in the hot tubs, or go to Dollywood. There is NO shortage of stuff to do at this one!

PLEASE be mindful of classes going on during the day. Sounds by guests must be kept at a very "dull roar" and cannot disrupt the classroom experience for those participating in the workshop. We really don't want to ask anyone to leave while classes are going on. First and foremost, this is a learning event and we will depend on those participating in the event to make appropriate accommodations for their guests during the day when class is in session.

The dinner out that we have at each Weekend Away is ALWAYS inclusive for attendees and guests!

PLEASE NOTE: Meals are an extra fee for all guests of registered participants staying onsite during the event. Please contact Beth at [email protected] and let her know who will be staying with you and to make payments for guest meals.

  • Should I bring my own beddings, linens, food?

Your call, my friends. A lot of people prefer their own bedding and there is a lot of kitchen space for food, but I (Judy) tend to occupy quite a bit of it. This venue has two stoves and a LOT of fridge space, so you should be OK if we can just keep things separate. There is also a kitchenette in one of the common areas. Bottom line is that I get MY dance space first… then you can have yours.

  • May I get a refund if something comes up or I change my mind about attending the event?

We understand that things happen and we want to be as flexible as possible. Please see our REFUND POLICY below.

Jena Seay

Instructor

Jena Seay, ND, CHS, CNHP and Certified Authentic Essential Oil Specialist

Jena’s interest in natural health and helping people started young, her grandparents opened their natural health store when she was a toddler, and her mom, Beth, started using herbs, chiropractic care, and eating healthy around the same time.

As a child, Jena was faced with many food allergies, food sensitivities, chronic nose bleeds, and chronic pain. She learned to track her foods and the connection that what she ate had to her health and well-being.

At 21, Jena started working at multiple health food stores, including the family store where she worked part-time off and on for 8 years. There, she soaked up all of the knowledge she could about herbs, homeopathic medicine, flower remedies, nutrition, and more. Her love for natural health led her to pursue an education in natural health. She became a Certified Health Specialist, a Certified Natural Health Practitioner, and later a Doctor of Naturopathy. For a short season, Jena included RBTI in her consultation practice but then let that go so she could be at home more with her young, growing family. She has since been a content creator and consultant for schools of natural health and has continued to help friends and family navigate their way through life with natural health suggestions.

Jena and her family have faced many health challenges through the years, including severe allergies, blood pressure spikes, auto-immune issues, fibromyalgia, sensory disorders, pregnancy and birth complications, migraines, and seizures. She has primarily used natural means to overcome or work through these issues for herself and her husband and children but uses modern medicine when it is a necessary asset.

Currently, Jena’s main focus is raising and homeschooling her family. She considers herself a “Scrunchy Mama” and incorporates natural and clean lifestyle choices with grace, understanding sometimes you just need to have the pizza night for fun and for the mental and emotional well-being of the family. After her family, her true passion is her dogs and helping the average dog owner live their best life with their dog without having to become a professional dog trainer through her YouTube channel, @BusywithDogs. She is also transparently owner-training her own Service Dog to help her with her health challenges and she shares more resources on her website, and in her Busy With Dogs membership program hosted on Patreon - https://www.patreon.com/BusywithDogs.

Jena is also working on courses in natural health covering pregnancy which she hopes to release in 2025.
